GUARDSMAN (12) missed the placings when resuming two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 6f at Doomben, beaten 6 lengths after being in contention on the corner. Looks well placed so expect another big run. FIND ME (3) is a maiden galloper who resumes after finishing in the money over 6f at Doomben five months ago. Sharpened for this with a recent trial win. Should be involved in the finish. HEADSTRONG (4) resumes from a lay-off of five months. Could only manage to finish fifth at the latest run over 6f at Doomben. Placed in a recent trial. Solid top-three hope.
