Nicely placed to play a pivotal role. PARISIENNE PIPER (9) finished 5 lengths away in sixth last time out over 6¾f at Doomben two weeks ago. Tackles a longer journey this time. Drawn to stalk the leaders. Among the leading chances. LEXY ROSE (8) ran a better race last start to finish a close third over 1m1/2f at Warrnambool after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Likely improver with strong prospects. EVELYN MAY (6) closed off strongly last start to get up for second, beaten a long neck, over 7f at Gold Coast. Will drift back but wind up late. Don't underestimate.
