MARAVICH (2) accounted for a maiden field over 1m1/4f at Beaudesert last start when fresh from a break. Brandon Lerena was in the saddle on that occasion and retains the mount. Capable of making it two on the trot. BOKUDEN (3) showed little early speed then came with a powerful run to finish third last time out over 1m1 1/2f at Ballina. Has a decent record at this track with three minor placings from four runs. Will prove tough to beat. AUTUNNO (4) hasn't raced since finishing tenth at Eagle Farm over 1m4f three-and-a-half weeks ago. Kept ticking over with a placing in a recent trial at Beaudesert. One of the main contenders. KEY COMPONENT (8) saluted two runs ago then turned in a nice run last time out when sixth over 1m2 3/4f at this track, beaten 1. 4 lengths. Best figures measure up so deserves another chance.
