COOL PANELS (3) ran a better race last start when he did his best work late to finish a close second over 6f at Kilcoy after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he has the ability to mix it with them. FOR BETTER (6) resumed over 7f at Gold Coast last start when she sat close to the pace before fading in the straight to finish 12th, beaten 9 lengths. Better than last start and worth another chance. RETAINER (7) was in the money two starts back at Sunshine Coast but was unable to repeat the effort last time when ninth, beaten 7 lengths, at Eagle Farm over 7f. Perfectly placed and is sure to take plenty of stopping. BUSKER (2) returned from a lay-off two weeks ago when he was beaten 5 lengths into fifth over 6f at Doomben. Fitter so anticipating a better run this time.
