POWER ACE (3) turned in a handy position before finishing second last start over 7½f at Kilcoy, beaten one length when resuming. Meets a stronger field but she is good enough to feature. CHANCE WITH WOLVES (14) has put together back-to-back placings, the latest when 2 lengths away in third over 7½f at Kilcoy when he was always up in the leading division. Meets some better types this time but another big run is on the cards. MAZITA (2) started at 7/1 last time and ran below expectations, finishing seventh and beaten 18 lengths at Toowoomba over 1m1 1/2f after being in the firing line on the bend. Must raise the bar but he has the talent to test this line-up. SPICY WINGS (6) had been performing well until racing below his best last time when fourth over 1m at Coffs Harbour. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. Solid claims on best form.
