NIGHT MARKET (5) faced the starter for the first time and was well supported but could only manage fifth last start at Eagle Farm over 5f, beaten 5. 5 lengths. Will improve and looks well placed. LONESOME STAR (4) gave a great sight last time, leading into the lane and boxing on well for a close second over 5f at Toowoomba when well in the market. That made it two minor placings from four runs this campaign. Should camp just off the leaders. Will prove tough to beat. PIXIE LANE (6) is a filly by Worthy Cause out of Prickles who is at the races for the first time. Ran fourth in a trial at Gold Coast over 4f. One of the main contenders with the blinkers applied. SPINIFEX DJON'S (7) is a first-starter by Wild Ruler out of De La Terre. Placed in a trial leading into this. Watch for market confidence.
