Sure to take a lot from that hitout so she shouldn't be a maiden for long. DON CORLEONE (8) is close to breaking through after two consecutive placings, the latest coming when second over 5½f at Fairgrounds (Turf) after being prominent from the outset. Expected to cross from wide out. Facing a tougher assignment but he is up to the task. ZAPPING STRIKE (2) resumes from a lay-off of four-and-a-half months. Looked close to a win before that break, finishing off with a minor placing over 6f at Churchill Downs (Dirt). Commenced last prep with a minor placing at Horseshoe Indianapolis over 5½f. Has ability so don't underestimate.
