MERRY MADISON (12) missed the placings when resuming two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 6½f at Tampa Bay Downs, beaten 2. 25 lengths. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. ONMYWAYTOSAVTHDAY (2) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with only one victory from 16 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fifth over 1m1/2f at Oaklawn Park, beaten 4 lengths. Finds a tougher race but she has the ability to test this field. HALEAKALA (9) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 8 lengths when fourth over 5½f at Sam Houston Park a month ago after being prominent at the turn. Tackling a deeper field this time but she is good enough to take this out. FORMAGGIO (1) proved too strong two runs ago but couldn't follow that up last time out when fifth over 6f at Aqueduct, beaten 21 lengths. Worth plenty of thought.
