HARDPOINT (3) was fresh from a break of five months last start when beaten a head into second over 7f at this track after he was always up in the leading division. Yet to miss the frame over this longer journey. Expected to run well. WINNING POINT (4) has been out of the winner's list for a long time, last start finishing eighth at this track over 7f. Nicely placed to bounce back. MISS HVAR (7) turned in a much better effort last time out to score by 3 lengths over 7½f at Hawkesbury. Finds a suitable race and can figure in the finish.
