SCORCHED LANE (2) hasn't been far away recently including last time out when third over 1m at Hawkesbury. Has good early speed so should take up a forward position. Will be in this for a long way. DARK VADOR (3) is a last-start winner over 1m at Gosford, showing good early speed on the occasion and leading throughout to score by half a length. Solid prospects again.
