LUNA CRUISER (6) finished second at Port Macquarie two runs back but was less effective last time over 7½f at Newcastle, finishing 8 lengths back in sixth. Finds an easier assignment and can find winning form. TIGERMOTH (3) wound up strongly only to just miss last start over 7½f at Port Macquarie. Placed to advantage and can run another bold race. REAL MAGIC (8) finished out of the money when fresh from a lay-off two starts back then she got a long way back and was beaten 12 lengths when tenth over 7½f at Newcastle a week-and-a-half ago. Tackling a more suitable race this time so she is one of the main contenders. MR SQUARE PANTS (7) is a four-start maiden who returned last time and finished sixth at Port Macquarie over 7½f, beaten 4.5 lengths. Definite top-three hope with plenty of improvement to come.
