    MIO AMICO (5) arrives in terrific form after following a Chelmsford third with a dominant 5. 5L triumph over 1m6f at the same venue. Tougher opposition now but current record gives him every chance of another bold display. FLEURMAN (2) sharpened nicely when scoring tackling track and trip a week and a half ago. Remains capable of featuring prominently. MERRIJIG (6) has not raced since a Newcastle all weather success contesting 2m1/2f in November yet this looks a suitable return target. BASHFUL BOY (4) has been costly to follow. Latest Lingfield fourth trying 2m was sound enough and he could be competitive again.
