EYES WIDE SHUT (10) showed good early speed and raced on the pace when when resuming after a lay-off last start before fading to finish ninth, beaten 4 lengths, over 7f at Cranbourne. Will be on the speed in transit and is expected to take some running down. ITWASONLYAKISS (2) was in a rearwards position on the turn last time out before finishing 9 lengths from the winner in eighth over 7f at Sale. This looks a nice race so expect him to be right in the finish. MISS XTRAVAGANZA (8) set the tempo last time out and boxed on to finish a nose from the winner in second at Kilmore over 7¼f. Yet to find winning form this prep but has been thereabouts with two placings from three starts. One of the main contenders. CAPTIVATING STORM (5) is yet to break through after four starts but not far off a win. Placed in a then missed the frame but was thereabouts last time over 6f at Yarra Valley. Drawn for a good trail just off the pace. Can feature with the right run.
