PURE PASSION (7) returned from a lay-off two-and-a-half weeks ago when she was prominent at the corner before being beaten 4 lengths into fifth over 5f at Sandown-Hillside. Ideally placed and is sure to play a pivotal role. SASSY FOR SURE (8) was in the money on debut at the only run last prep. Less effective when resuming last start over 5f at Sandown-Hillside, finishing sixth and beaten 4.5 lengths. Open to plenty of improvement and is among the winning hopes.
