DRUTHERS (6) has been in the betting at both starts but has failed to break through. Most recently finished ninth over 7f at Werribee, beaten 8 lengths. Finds a nice race and looks a great chance to repay supporters. CITY WOK (1) progressed nicely last time out to finish just a nose from the winner in second over 1m at this track after being in the firing line on the corner. Has his share of talent. Hard to beat in this suitable race. MERRY JACK (2) finished 5. 5 lengths away in eighth last time out over 7f at Terang two weeks ago. Steps up in journey. Will find this assignment a little tougher but shapes as one to consider. SPOT THE GREY (4) returns after five months in the paddock. Closed the last campaign with a eighth over 7f176yards at Mt Gambier. Has ability and must be included in calculations.
