WHERE'S POPPY (4) started at 4/1 last time and ran below expectations, finishing ninth and beaten 8 lengths at Swan Hill over 1m after being in contention on the turn. John Allen gets the best out of this nine-year-old gelding. Stepping up a level this time but on his best form he is capable of testing his rivals. BATTAGLIA (2) missed the placings two runs back then did well last start but found a couple better over 1m1/4f at Moe, beaten only 1. 5 lengths. Best figures measure up. Sure to run well.
