    EMPIRE OF PAIN (5) settled well back last start and never threatened when 4 lengths from the winner in fourth over 1m at Mornington. Nicely placed to take this out. TREMAMORE (3) was a determined winner when returning from a lay-off two runs back then drifted back last time and finished 3 lengths away in fifth over 7f at Warrnambool. Likely to figure prominently. POLISH PLAYGIRL (10) accounted for a maiden field over 7f43yards at Geelong last start, finishing 1. 3 lengths ahead of the nearest rival. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. Tougher assignment this time but is one of the main contenders. KIWIESQUE (12) didn't make an impact at her last run before going for a lay-off on 29/06/2025, finishing seventh and beaten 8 lengths over 1m at Ballarat. Lines up. For the first time for trainer shannon roughan. Definite top-three chance.
