CONFLICT (2) is a maiden galloper who resumes after finishing in the money over 6f at Ballarat four months ago. Trialling well leading into this. Great chance to break through. ZOUSOUTH (10) is yet to break through after four career starts. Could only manage to finish sixth last time out over 5f at Werribee following a minor placing at Werribee when fresh from a lay-off the run prior. Cannot be left out of calculations. HATALOOK (12) did little and finished 4 lengths from the winner in ninth over 6½f at Seymour last start after being prominent at the turn, a less impressive effort than her when resuming fourth at Wangaratta the run before. Ideally placed and is sure to take a ton of beating. RECYCLE KING (4) returns after five-and-a-half months in the paddock. Closed the last campaign with a tenth over 7f43yards at Geelong. Placed in a recent trial. Rates highly on best form and should be in the mix.
