Nicely placed to feature in the finish. VIVID BLOOMS (7) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 4. 5 lengths when fifth over 1m2f at Penola two-and-a-half weeks ago. Needs to be at her best to beat this field but she cannot be taken lightly. SPICY APPLE (5) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 4 lengths when eighth over 1m at Swan Hill a week-and-a-half ago. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. YUKON RIVER (6) stepped out on his debut over 1m at Stawell six days ago and finished tenth, beaten 5. 5 lengths. Top-three chance with that run under his belt.
