HOLY GUACAMOLEE (9) is a promising type who scored at his last run before a break three months ago over 1f130yards in Listed grade at Retama Park (Dirt). Has scored when resuming from a lay-off before. Should camp just off the leaders. Expected to be in the finish. SHAW ISLAND (8) did well to score at Retama Park two runs ago. Fair effort last time out when prominent at the corner before finishing second over 1½f at this track, beaten half a length. Has the ability to find the winners' list. CANDY SLAM (4) was in contention on the turn and ran a better race last start to finish a close second over 1f80yards at this track after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Ideally placed and is sure to give this a mighty shake. ROYALIST (5) is a two-year-old colt who is having his first run for the Edith A Mojica stable. Resumes after finishing fourth at The Albuquerque Downs Racetrack & Casino (Dirt) at his last run 11 weeks ago. Hasn't trialled publicly but won on debut to launch last prep. One of the main chances.
