The engagement of Cruz Mendez is a positive move. Meeting a tougher field but on his best form he is capable of a big performance. CRYPTO FABORITE (4) showed good pace over 1f80yards at this track (Dirt) last time and went on to score by one length. Taking on a better field but he is capable of running a bold race. CANDY EYED SUZE (6) will strip fitter for this after running below expectations when resuming at this track (Dirt), finishing fifth and beaten 5.5 lengths over 1f130yards. This looks a sterner test than last time but on her best form she is one of the key runners. VAL TORIVIO (5) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1f130yards at this track, beaten 3.5 lengths into sixth. Better than recent efforts suggest.
