CRUCIBLE (3) raced once in the maiden campaign when fourth at Los Alamitos (Dirt) over 5f back on June 29. Much better for that run and can get off the mark this time. EIELSON (4) finished second, beaten 4 lengths, when resuming from a lay-off last start over 4f124yards at this track (Dirt) after he was in contention on the turn. Placed to advantage and can take this out. MESA VERDE (2) has not raced since its debut back on May 25 when it finished seventh over 4½f at Santa Anita (Dirt). Can improve sharply. MORRO MORRO (5) finished 13 lengths from the winner in fourth at his most recent appearance over 4f124yards at this track (Dirt) after he got a long way back in the run. Suited in this line up and is among the better hopes.
