HOW LOVELY (1) ran below expectations last time at Del Mar (Turf), finishing seventh and beaten 13 lengths starting at 7/1. Won't find this as tough so she is a major player. SAINT MIHIEL (6) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 7 lengths when fourth over 6½f at Del Mar two-and-a-half weeks ago after being in the firing line on the corner. Finds a nice race and can figure in the finish. ELTONSINGSANOTHER (3) was a placegetter on dirt over 6f at Santa Anita in a but missed the frame on turf over 5f at Del Mar last time. Hard to fault if at her best. Can atone. MANIAE (5) turned in a nice effort to score two runs ago but was less impressive last time out when second over 5½f at this track, beaten 4. 5 lengths. Likely improver with top-three prospects.
