FINE SHOT (5) started at 5/1 last time and ran below expectations, finishing seventh and beaten 4. 5 lengths at Emerald over 5f. Meets some better types this time but a big run is on the cards. MASTER MONTARO (1) showed good early speed and led throughout to score by 2 lengths last start over 5½f at this track. One of the top chances again. FLYING SHAMUS (7) backs up nine days after racing on the speed and finishing second over 5½f at this track. Good effort last start and should feature. TRACK TALE (2) finished off last campaign with a eighth over 6½f at Rockhampton on 4/07/2025, beaten 5 lengths. Has a great record when fresh with three wins from four runs and scored when resuming last prep, a bold showing is expected.
