FELIPITY (6) showed little early speed then came with a powerful run to finish second when resuming last time out over 6f at Townsville. Expected to prove tough to hold out again. MERSEY LASS (8) finished out of the money when fresh from a lay-off two starts back then she was always well out of her ground and was beaten 7 lengths when seventh in a 5f contest at Townsville three weeks ago. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. SPORT (3) wasn't far off maiden success before a break of three-and-a-half months, finishing the campaign with a minor placing over 5¼f at Rockhampton. Should present well following a recent trial win. Solid top-three hope.
