Likely improver with strong prospects. STRIKE PLATE (3) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 7 lengths when fifth in a 6f contest at this track three-and-a-half weeks ago after being in contention on the turn. Has the ability to produce a better result. OL' NELSON (9) missed the placings two runs back then didn't feature last start when 11 lengths away in fifth over 6f at this track after being prominent at the corner. This is a nice drop in grade so he is set to turn things around. GRITS N GRAVY (2) turned in a nice effort to score two runs ago but was less impressive last time out when eighth over 6f at this track, beaten 14 lengths. One of the main hopes.
