DAREDEVIL DOUG (3) is close to breaking through after two consecutive placings, the latest coming when second over 6f at Fairgrounds (Dirt) after being prominent from the outset. Drawn for a good trail just off the pace. Looks well placed this line-up so expect another big run. FAST TALKIN MAN (5) met with solid support when resuming last start over 5½f at this track (Dirt) when second, beaten 3 lengths. Can bounce back. PIVOT TO THE POWER (8) was in contention on the bend and finished second last start at the first run back from a lay-off over 1m1/2f at Turfway Park (Synthetic), beaten 3 lengths. Has the talent to take this out. WAMPANOAG CHIEF (2) was unplaced two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 5½f at Parx, beaten 10 lengths into sixth. Better than recent efforts suggest.
