SILENT DRILL (5) has been racing in great heart with two top-three finishes on end, the latest a third over 6f at this track (Dirt) when he was prominent throughout. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. JIM'S RIVER RUNNER (4) finished fourth two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 6f at this track, beaten only half a length. Finds a tougher race but another big run will not surprise. MAN'S CHOICE (6) produced a good run two starts back to finish second but failed to live up to market expectations last time when out of the placings at this track (Dirt) over the same trip after he had settled well back. Nicely placed to turn things around. PAINT THE TOWN (1) hasn't been able to break through for an extended period, the latest effort a fifth over 6f at this track (Dirt). Placed to advantage so expect a bold run.
