PRETTY THING (11) turned in a modest performance when fourth last time out over 1m at Monmouth Park, beaten 9 lengths after being in the firing line on the corner. That followed a win at Delaware Park at the previous outing. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot make amends. WHIRLWIND (2) improved last start to finish second over 1m1/2f at Monmouth Park after being in the firing line on the bend. Perfectly placed and is sure to be there at the finish. MARIANO (3) was in the firing line on the turn and finished third last time over 1m at Colonial Downs (Turf) when resuming from a lay-off, beaten 4 lengths. This is a nice race and can get the job done. RIVER TAY (9) did a great job to score by 0.8 lengths over this course and distance last start in a much improved run. Finds an easier assignment and can continue the winning form.
