Rates among the leading chances. BOLSHOI BABE (11) raced on the speed on debut last start and held on well for third over 5½f at Bordertown. Likely improver so she is among the leading chances. JURA VAUDOIS (6) returns from a layoff of three months. Worth noting she filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last time in work over 5¼f at Oakbank. Yet to win when resuming but generally runs well with two minor placings from four tries. Can make her presence felt.
