CAVALRY GIRL (2) is a distance specialist who improved sharply on her ninth two starts back in the LR Cap D'Antibes Stakes at Flemington with success as favourite over 5f at Mornington three-and-a-half weeks ago, getting home by half a length after being in contention on the bend. Meets some better types this time but she has the ability to test this field. SONOFKIRK (1) has been freshened since finishing fifth over 6f in the G3 HDF McNeil Stakes at Caulfield. Filled a placing in a recent Mornington trial. Well placed and is expected to feature. INVINCIBLE WOMAN (4) is a three-year-old filly who is having her first run for the Lloyd Kennewell stable. Finished off last campaign with a 14th in the LR Magic Millions 2yo Classic at Gold Coast nine months ago. Will strip fitter for a trial win and scored on debut to kick off the maiden campaign. Bold showing expected. BOLD SECRET (5) first time out after just one run in first campaign where he finished among the placegetters at Flemington. Sure to be improved by a trial and is an each way hope again.
