BOLD RESPONSE (2) pushed forward from a wide draw last time and found the front, leading for most of the way before fading late to finish fifth over 6f at Kyneton. Definite winning hope. LULU DARLING (9) was in contention on the bend and finished third last start at the first run back from a lay-off over 6f at Moe, beaten 3. 5 lengths. Fitter for that run. Nicely placed to play a role in the finish.
