    MEG'S MAGIC (13) finished 2. 25 lengths from the winner in fifth last start over 6f at Gawler, an improvement on her eighth at this track the run before. Likely improver with strong prospects. VALLENCOURT (6) did little and finished 10 lengths from the winner in 14th over 7f at Murray Bridge last start after being prominent at the turn, a less impressive effort than her fourth at Morphettville Parks the run before. This doesn't look as hard so she is one of the main contenders. STARTIDE (8) was going okay prior to finishing 10 lengths back in 12th last start over 6f at Gawler. Jacob Opperman has a solid record aboard this six-year-old mare so she is among the winning hopes. REINE OF NINE (15) drifted back and never threatened when seventh last start over 5½f at Murray Bridge. Nicely placed to bounce back.
