MATING CALL (1) resumes after a break of five months. Did win at her only other when resuming run when on debut, scoring over 6f at Balaklava. Ran fifth in a trial at Oakbank over 5¼f recently. Looks set to run well. SIR MYKA (5) has been in the placings at both runs this prep, most recently a closing second over 5¼f at Morphettville. Good chance to break through. LIGHT THE NIGHT (3) turned in a modest performance when fourth last time out over 6f at Murray Bridge, beaten 4. 5 lengths. That followed a win at this track at the previous outing. Has started two times at this course and distance and is yet to miss the placings. Won't find this as tough so he can make amends. OAK PARK MADDISON (6) improved sharply last time out to score by 8 lengths over 6f at Port Lincoln two weeks ago. Has her share of talent. Hard to beat again in this suitable race.
