SHADOW EAGLE (6) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start when he got a long way back over 6¼f at Morphettville Parks, beaten 1. 5 lengths into sixth. Likely improver with strong prospects. CASINO SHOWGIRL (14) is back from a lay-off of four-and-a-half months. Closed last prep with a seventh, beaten 5. 5 lengths, over 7½f at Cranbourne. Looks ready to run a big race following two recent trials. Best figures read very well. PURFECT LINE (4) produced a reasonable effort when third last start over 5½f at this track. That followed a win at Kingscote the start prior. One of the main hopes.
