SHEZAIN (3) is a four-year-old mare who is having her first run for the Keith Dryden & Libby Snowden yard. Hasn't raced since finishing in the placings at Canberra 22 months ago. Ran fourth in a trial at Goulburn over 4f and looks nicely placed. Expected to go close. REVEILLON (7) led early and was still in the firing line on the turn last start before tiring to finish eighth over 6½f at this track. Among the top chances in what looks a most suitable race. SPLENDID MAGNUS (11) is returning from a lay-off of five-and-a-half months. Finished seventh at Geelong over 5¾f at the first run last prep. Now with a new trainer Natalie Jarvis. Sound top-three prospects. DUBBO BOY (4) raced on the speed when resuming from a lay-off last start over 5½f at Nowra but couldn't finish the job and wound up in seventh, 8 lengths from the winner. Has good early toe so he should be handy in the run. Must be respected.
