PEARLER (3) lines up for the hat-trick after registering a strong win last time over 1m at Orange, scoring by a nose. Has a strong association with Robyn Freeman who has been in the saddle for her last two wins. Bold showing expected. MIDNIGHT AFFAIR (4) was prominent at the corner but didn't fire over 1m1f at Wagga last time out when in the market. That followed a good third the run before. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. VELIA (1) got the prize two runs ago at Gosford. Couldn't follow that up last time out when tenth over 1m at Kembla Grange, beaten 7 lengths. Finds a suitable assignment and can return to winning ways. JAMARNI (2) has two placings from four outings this prep and last start finished a head from the winner in second over 7f27yards at this track. Must be included in calculations.
