RICH CHAMPAGNE (8) went forward last start and proved too strong, getting home by a long neck over 1m2 1/4f at Moonee Valley. It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is one of the chief contenders. CRAFTY BOSS (10) did well last time to finish fourth over 1m at Caulfield after he was well back on straightening. The extra journey should play into his hands. Can win this without surprising. FLYING BASIL (3) displayed plenty of early toe and went on to score by a long neck last time out over 1m2f at Naracoorte. Meets a stronger field but he is capable of running a bold race. IMPOSING SUSPECT (9) has progressed nicely in his last couple of runs. Finished third at Morphettville Parks two starts back then got the job done by 0.8 lengths last time out over 1m2f at Murray Bridge. Finds a suitable race and can play a major role.
