GLOBES (9) is back at the races for the first time since June 30. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last prep over 1m1/4f at Tampa Bay Downs. Yet to win when resuming but generally runs well with four minor placings from six tries. Sure to make his presence felt. FUN LOVIN CRIMINAL (1) has been in the market at his last couple of starts but hasn't made an impression, last start pulled up over 7f at Charles Town (Dirt). Rates highly in this line up. Gets his chance. THOUGHT (2) got well back over 7f at this track (Turf) last time and never threatened, eventually finishing 7 lengths away in seventh. This is a nice drop in grade so he is a major player. ROSE'S PEPINO (6) drifted well back before winding up strongly to score an effortless 2 lengths win over 1m1/2f at this track (Dirt) last time out. Has a strong record at this course, scoring eight times from 16 starts. Must be respected.
