TO MONARCH (1) is ready to win after another minor placing last start, finishing second over 5½f at Gulfstream Park (Synthetic) when he was prominent throughout. Has the class to build on that encouraging effort last start. MONBA QUAKE (5) scored a commanding victory at Mahoning Valley (Dirt) over 6f at his latest appearance on 24/03/2025, the only time he faced the starter in that campaign. Should be hard to stop. WHISKEYINATEACUP (6) was among the placings on the turf over 5f at this track in a but couldn't find the top-three on the same surface last time out, finishing sixth over 7½f at this track. Worth following up back on dirt. WALT WHITMAN (3) is a five-year-old entire who is having his first run for the Juan Carlos Gotera barn. Resumes after finishing seventh at Tampa Bay Downs (Dirt) at his last run seven months ago. Hasn't trialled publicly but looks nicely placed. One of the main chances.
