PATRIARCHAL (5) has been out of the placings in two runs since a break, the latest when fifth, beaten 10 lengths, over 6f at Thistledown (Dirt) after he travelled towards the rear of the field. Cherry-ripe now and is a great chance to break through. SIR MAXIMUS (6) scored a 10 length win on dirt at this track two starts back but then disappointed on turf last time at this track over 7½f when 7 lengths from the winner in ninth. Worth following up back on dirt. BRAGGADOCIOUS (1) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with just three wins from 33 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fourth over 1m at this track, beaten 6 lengths. Likely contender with strong prospects. TAKECHARGEJUSTICE (2) hasn't made an impression lately despite market confidence. Last start could only manage seventh over 1m at Horseshoe Indianapolis (Turf). Can sneak into the finish.
