Well placed and sure to go well again. CLAM BEACH (5) comes here off a break of 11 weeks. Worth noting she filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last time in work over 5½f at Del Mar. Expect her to play a major role. KHNUM (1) returns after a lay-off of eight months. Looking to emulate her win at this track at the beginning of last prep. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race. R SPECIAL (6) turned in a modest performance when fifth last time out over 7f at Charles Town, beaten 7 lengths, after a win at Charles Town at the previous outing. Worth another chance.
