    A BOY NAMED SOO (8) went back early from his wide draw over 1m at Narromine last time but hit the line strongly to finish sixth. Capable of overwhelming this field late in proceedings. HAZE (1) was a winner over 6½f at Narromine last time out, dropping out early before coming home with a powerful run to score by 0.7 lengths. Will prove tough to hold out again. KOBOLD (7) built on a nice third two starts back at Wellington with a win over 6f at Bathurst three weeks ago, getting home by a neck. Mikayla Weir scored on her last time and retains the ride. Finds a suitable race and can build on that last-start success. GREEN RUN (5) wound up strongly at the end of 1m at Scone last time out, finishing a nose away in second. Winning rider Kath Bell-Pitomac stays aboard. Worth including in calculations.
