This offers him a great chance of breaking through. THE CONTRACTOR (6) backs up five days after racing on the speed and finishing second over 6½f at Scone. Good effort last start and shapes as a major threat. PREORDAIN (4) spotted them a big start last time out and could only manage to finish seventh over 7f at Nowra. Will drift back but wind up late. One to consider. PAWA (8) is a first-starter by Tosen Stardom out of Sonic Power. Progressing nicely with a recent trial win. Worth consideration.
