MAYBE NOW (2) resumes from a lay-off of four-and-a-half months. Could only manage to finish 11th at the latest run over 7f at this track. Tuned up with a fifth in a recent trial at Narromine. Has ability and can get off the mark. SINGLE SHY (6) stepped out on her debut over 4f at Narromine two weeks ago and finished fourth, beaten 2 lengths. Likely improver who is worth another chance. EQUITABLE (9) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 4½f at Scone, beaten 6 lengths after being in the firing line on the turn. Fitter so expect a better run this time. WILLOW HILL (7) has not raced since her debut back on April 1 when she finished eighth over 5f at Tamworth. Plenty of scope for improvement.
