VIIPURI (4) resumes after a break of three-and-a-half months. Did win at his only other when resuming run when on debut, scoring over 5f at Orange. Placed in a recent trial. Expected to go very well. OUR EMILY (6) was well fancied when resuming last start and proved too strong, scoring by 0. 8 lengths over 4½f at Gunnedah. Open to plenty of improvement and must be respected. NEVERMISTA (5) was well fancied last time but could only manage second over 5f at Gunnedah after being well positioned to strike on the bend. Shapes as one to consider. SAPPHIRE KISS (3) won at Taree two starts ago but was below her best at a more recent appearance, finishing seventh over 5f at Taree. Finds a nice race and can make amends.
