REAL BAKER (13) was in control from the outset to score as favourite on debut over 6½f at Orange five-and-a-half months ago and has not been produced since. Has since been kept ticking over with a Rosehill trial win. Looks promising and can measure up again. ECHELON (12) pushed forward from a wide draw last time out and found the front, holding the lead for most of the way and sticking on well to finish second over 5f at Scone. Will go forward and is expected to be in the finish again. ZOCKETMAN (5) is a handy type who resumes after a break of four-and-a-half months. At his last appearance he finished seventh over 6f at Rosehill, beaten 5. 5 lengths. Fitter for three trials, filling a minor placing at his most recent appearance. Unbeaten in two starts when fresh. Will drift back but wind up late. Among the main hopes. OCCULT (2) returns from a lay-off of seven months and is having his first run for a new yard. Was a winner when fresh last campaign at Tamworth over 6f. Placed in a recent trial.
