IMPOSING SUSPECT (9) improved last time out, finishing 2. 75 lengths from the winner in third at the end of 1m2f at Penola after being prominent at the bend. Tackling a deeper field this time but he is capable of running a bold race. EL JAMES (11) was not far away last time out, finishing third over 1m3/4f at Geelong. Unbeaten at this longer journey and rates among the leading chances. MISTER ME (4) built on a nice second two starts back at Warrnambool with success over 1m at Camperdown three weeks ago, getting home by a neck. Tom Madden scored on him last time and retains the mount. Has the ability to take care of this field. BOLT BY (8) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 1m2 1/4f at Strathalbyn, beaten 3 lengths into sixth. Well placed and can figure in the finish this time.
