DIAMOND LIGHT (7) went forward from the low draw when when resuming from a lay-off last time before fading to finish tenth over 5½f at Kalgoorlie. Will give backers a sight. FIRST LAW (1) finished 8 lengths behind the winner in eighth over 6f32yards at Albany last start after lifting strongly to score two runs back. Backmarker who gets home hard. Must be respected.
