    APHELION (1) is back after a break of nine months. At the last run before the layoff he finished fourth over 7½f at Muswellbrook. Has trialled two times leading into this. Well placed and happy to have him on top. STREET SKATER (5) turned in a handy position before finishing second last start over 6f87yards at Orange, beaten half a length as favourite. Looks well placed so expect another forward display. LONG TIME LOVERS (11) finished second over 6f at Mudgee in a then missed the frame last time out over 6f at Warren. Has the addition of blinkers. Finds a nice race and can measure up. HIMEROS (3) returned from a lay-off two-and-a-half weeks ago when he was beaten 3. 5 lengths into sixth over 5½f at Wellington. Fitter this time will prove harder to beat.
